Medical Science Liaison - Haematology

This is a permanent, full-time position based in either Melbourne or Sydney.

What You’ll Do
As a national Senior/Medical Science Liaison in our Haematology medical team, you will play a key role in bridging scientific knowledge and clinical practice. You will focus on delivering high-quality, evidence-based and actionable information to key clinicians and internal stakeholders to support the appropriate use of AstraZeneca’s products and services and develop appropriate clinical and scientific information that clinically differentiates AstraZeneca's products.
In this pivotal field-based role, you'll play a crucial part in advancing our mission by supporting marketed therapies and pipeline assets through high-quality scientific exchange and strategic insight gathering.
Responsibilities
Lead scientific exchange for all relevant clinical data with key external stakeholders.
Communicate effectively with both external and internal stakeholders.
Integrate scientific understanding with strategic business acumen.
develop appropriate clinical and scientific information that clinically differentiates AstraZeneca's products
Build strong professional partnerships with key external stakeholders.
Pursue continuous professional development to stay abreast of scientific and medical advances.
Demonstrate excellence in time management, strategic planning, and field execution.
Essential Skills/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline (ex: Medicine, Pharmacy or disease related science)
Experience as a MSL or Senior MSL from the pharmaceutical industry
Excellent project management skills and presentation skills
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
High level analytical and conceptual thinking
Desirable Skills/Experience
Advanced degree eg Master’s degree/PhD/PharmD/MBA in a scientific discipline
Extensive knowledge of haematology disease area and treatment
Established relationships with relevant haematology KOL’s
Knowledge of the latest technical and regulatory developments
Experience in product launch or strategy development and execution
